Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of La Coopérative Radio-Chéticamp are as follows:

· To operate an FM, French-speaking community radio station with educational objectives, with the direct participation of the residents of the Chéticamp, St-Joseph-du-Moine and Margaree area.

· Encourage the learning of radio broadcasting tools by offering learning initatives related to engineering and radio hosting through active participation in the preparation and broadcasting of radio shows.

· Promoting regional cultural development and artistic expression with the presentation of folk and historical shows and Acadian plays.

· Encourage the development of new music appreciation among our listeners with a variety of quality musical programming.

· Organizing public-service educational shows such as round-table discussions, debates, etc.

· Offer an informative news service in order to enlighten the community and favor social and economic regional development.
