“REVENU A MA CHAUMIERE” (Back To The Homestead)
Roger (a Charles-Emile a Alex) Beaudry, brings with him over 20 years of musical and artistic influences, ranging from an eclectic assembly of both mainstream and traditional pieces (North American, European and parts of the African Continent) and some more obscure artists combined with world rhythms to the more contemplative instrumentations. This program will cover a wide area of sounds, and will cater as a result to a wide variety of tastes. Drawing from personal experiences at home as a youngster, and from his later years in three major cities, he invites listeners to share with him some of the insights and perspectives through his writings on daily life with a simplicity and straightforwardness that is richly entertaining. Filled with humor and affection and an evident joy and pride in having returned to the fold and the land he loves greatly, Roger serves up some meaning to just about every piece he plays.
